Bachelor of Elementary Education

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) is an undergraduate teacher education degree program designed to prepare individuals intending to teach in the elementary level.

The BEEd degree program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education. The program also draws from various allied disciplines like social sciences, science, math, technology, and languages and humanities to ensure that the graduates have a multi-disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy.

After successful completion of all academic requirements of the program, graduates of BEEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the elementary level.

CERTIFICATES

The graduate of BEEd qualifies to take Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) leading to a Professional Licensed Teacher conducted by the Board of Professional Teachers under the supervision of the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC).

This program also awards graduates with Certificate of Basics in Spanish Language Course adter successful completion of 30-hour Beginners’ Course.
