Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

The BSIT program is an in-depth exposure to computer hardware and software technologies. It prepares students to be IT professionals who are able to perform installation, operation, development, maintenance and administration of computer applications. The BSIT program aims to gear up students as “information technologists” who can assist individuals and organizations in solving problems using different techniques in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

The BSIT program equips students with the basic ability to conceptualize, design and implement software applications. It also provides experience in development of office (word processing, spreadsheet, database and accounting), intranet and internet, and specialized professional softwarer (multi-media, website development and e-commerce). It also offers background in mathematical and computing principles.


The BSIT program is designed to provide graduates with competency in programming and in computer system servicing by certification – NCI’s provided by TESDA and other third party companies such as Microsoft and CISCO.
