Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS PSYCH)
This is a four-year degree program that is designed to help students observe human behavior and its mental processes through the scientific method. Students will receive a high quality education in the diverse discipline of Psychology and learn communication and critical thinking skills with scientific training. Students will also gain knowledge, skills and competencies needed to assess and conduct realistic research on individual and group behavior using various psychological theories and concepts.
The program provides preparation for graduate studies in Psychology as well as further studies in the fields of Medicine, Law, Guidance and Counseling, Human Resource Development. This program is also designed to provide graduates with competencies for board examinations in Psychologist, Psychometrician and Guidancce Counselor.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
A graduate of BS Psychology qualifies to take Licensure Examination under the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) subject to required conditions:
– Registered Psychometrician
(RPm)
– Registered Psychologist (RP)
– Registered Guidance Counselor
(RGC)
